Rabeendra Sangeet during Brain Surgery!
The skilled surgeons at the Bengaluru Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital performed a high precision brain surgery while the patient, a 34 year old lady was encouraged to keep singing her favorite Rabeendra Sangeet. Owing to the peculiar condition the patient was suffering from, the doctors had to keep her communication abilities active during the three and-a-half-hour-long surgery. A complicated tumor was detected on the left side of her brain, close to the region that controls speech & comprehension abilities. The surgeons had to ensure that the patient wouldn’t lose her speech post-surgery and hence she had to remain awake and conscious.

Life restored for 10 year old Preeti at Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital!!
Preeti, a 10-year-old girl from Bangalore first came to us in December 2012. She was 6 years old then and was carried by her mother, as she was not able to walk. We were told then by her grandfather that they had been visiting neurosurgeons across Chennai and Bangalore and yet nothing had worked in their favor.
