Dr Narendra Rangappa is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon par excellence. He did his MBBS at Mysore JSS Medical College in 1995 and followed it up with an MS Ortho from the same institution in 1999. He then trained in trauma surgery at Manipal Hospital before serving as a clinical fellow at Balaji Institute of Surgery, Rehabilitation and Research for the Disabled (BIRRD) in Tirupathi – a hospital specialising in spinal surgery, arthroscopy, arthroplasty, limb lengthening procedures and more, all focused on serving the poor and disabled.
Dr Rangappa’s focus is on ACL reconstruction, hip replacement, knee replacement and spine surgeries. He has been awarded the DePuy-Johnson and Johnson spine surgery fellowship (South Korea), a clinical Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery and a fellowship in Joint Replacement Surgery (Germany). He is a member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and the Karnataka Orthopaedic Association.
