Dr Chandan Juneja

Dr Chandan Juneja did his basic MBBS degree at M S Ramaiah College in Bangalore after which he spent a number of years working at St Martha’s Hospital. It was at St Martha’s in 1994 that he completed in DNB in General Surgery.

He was then involved in the teaching programme for DNB students in general surgery. Save for a couple of years spent as an in-house consultant at St Philomena’s Hospital (Bangalore), since 1996 he has been in private practice. He has performed most general surgeries, assisted visiting consultants and been in various teaching roles.

Dr Juneja takes a special interest in open hernia surgery and minimally invasive surgery for hemorrhoids.

He is a visiting surgeon at St Philomena’s Hospital, Vikram Hospital, Chinmaya Mission Hospital and, of course, Sita Bhateja Speciality Hospital. He is also a member of the Bangalore Surgical Society, Bangalore Gastroenterology Group and the Indian Society of Gastroenterology.
